New LP “Metacog”

Metacog by Wave Well

The first LP from “Wave Well” (Anthony Moore)

I produced this album with the intention to create an atmosphere of thought and contemplation but also with the dynamic tension of rhythmic beats keeping the listener in check. In Metacog there is no sampling or pre-made loops. All material was carefully crafted and designed from scratch down to the smallest measure and orchestrated with only my vision and ability to compose. This Album was built on a combination of soft synths and hard synths and a variety of studio recorded tracks. Fun Facts: In multiple songs you will hear a choir pad which is made from a recording of my voice layered from three C notes that I sang as steady as I could in different octaves (there I got some singing in…) 009 “Incorporeal Quest” was all recorded on a Juno 106 in one take. And 011 “Hadalpelagic Ruins” aside from ambient voices is entirely derived from a recording of one stroke on a piano key. I want to thank Dave Middleton who did a fantastic job mixing and mastering like a master to bring my project to a level I could not and Tim Middleton who provided some drum skills on 013 “All As One”

Thanks for listening.
